What is Homent?
Homent is a family coordination app for school runs, medicine, pickups, dinner, notices, and a shared household board. Parents, grandparents, helpers, and elderly members stay in sync from their phones. A wall tablet and care sensors are optional add-ons.
Is Homent the same as Homent Capital?
No. The family app is a product of Neural Teller Limited in Hong Kong. It is not Homent Capital, not the Homent food-delivery apps, and not Homent Living.
Who is Homent for?
Families who coordinate children and/or elderly parents at home — including dual-income households with a helper. Each person gets a role: caregiver, parent, or family admin.
How do I see who is on school pickup?
Pickup and drop-off are named on each event. The helper sees her own runs in the Family App. You update once; phones stay in sync. Print A4 when elders will not open the app.
Is Homent a medical or fall-detection device?
No. Homent Care Sensors are consumer smart-home electronics, not medical devices and not a life-safety system. Presence and optional fall alerts must not be used for diagnosis, treatment, or medical-grade monitoring.
Does Homent use a camera or microphone?
No. Care sensors use mmWave presence only. They do not capture camera images or audio.
How much does Homent cost?
The family app is free forever — no subscription, no credit card, no feature tiers. Care sensors are optional hardware (USD 38 plus SF Express). The full note is on Why free?
Which phones and tablets work?
The Family App runs on iPhone and Android. The Display App — or a browser — can turn an existing iPad or Android tablet into a wall board. Native apps need iOS 15.5+. The browser board works on iPadOS/iOS 12.5+ Safari and Android 8+ Chrome.
How do helpers and family members join?
Create a family in the browser at homent.app (no credit card), then invite people with a link or QR code. They join in the Family App. You approve each new phone or tablet once.
Can I import Google Calendar?
Yes. You can import selected Google Calendar days (read-only), then set attendees and pickup or drop-off so work events stay off the family board.
Can I print a schedule?
Yes. Export an A4 PDF for one person or for caregiver tasks — a few days, a week, a month, or a custom range — as a table or a calendar for the fridge.
How does Homent handle my data?
Family data stays in your household workspace. Homent does not sell personal data or build advertising profiles. Connections use HTTPS. You can download a JSON archive and delete your account from My Profile.
What are Homent care sensors?
Optional kits (USD 38 plus SF Express). No camera, no microphone. You can get presence alerts when someone arrives, or when nobody does. Fall detection is optional if you mount the kit on the ceiling. They are not medical devices.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Remove your account and owned family workspaces from My Profile. See the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions, or email hello@homent.app.
