Family medicine on the Homent board — not a medical device
Put morning medicine and clinic visits on the same household board as school runs. Helpers and elders see their items. Homent is not a medical device and not 24-hour monitoring.
Medicine and clinic visits on the same board as pickup
Households using Homent put morning medicine and clinic appointments on the family board next to school runs. Elders see medicine and appointments. The helper sees the items that are hers. You update once. Phones — and an optional wall tablet — stay in sync. Home Screen widgets can remind you what is tomorrow, or the next medical appointment.
That is coordination. It is not a medical device, not diagnosis, not treatment, and not medical-grade monitoring. Care sensors (optional) are consumer electronics with no camera; they are not 平安鐘. Read no-camera elderly sensor before you buy hardware.
What belongs on the board
- A named medicine event (for example morning medicine for an elder) so the person who should act can see it.
- Clinic or dentist with who is on pickup / drop-off, so the run is not a WhatsApp scramble. School pickup status is the same status model.
- A printout for an elder who will not open the app: fridge calendar.
What does not belong
- Doses, titration, or “the app told us to skip a pill.” Homent will not take that job.
- 24-hour emergency response. Call the services you already have.
- Camera monitoring of an elder. Homent does not offer a camera.
Helper and privacy
The helper should see clinic runs she is driving and medicine tasks assigned to her. She should not see a spouse’s private appointments you did not put on the board. Same rule as Google import: only household days. Invite with QR.

FAQ
Is Homent a medicine tracker like a clinical app?
No. It is a household board that can show medicine and clinic events. It is not a medical device.
Can care sensors replace a nurse or 平安鐘?
No. They are optional presence kits, not life-safety products.
Will the helper see every medical appointment?
Only what you put on the board and assign. Keep private visits off the board.
