Homent

From people who use it

From people who actually use it.

Households that use Homent, in their own words — two kids, a helper, elders’ clinic visits, a printout when they will not open the app, and a no-camera sensor when grandpa lives alone. Not ad copy.

How do you coordinate with a helper and elders without another group chat?

Pickups, shopping, and clinic visits used to scatter across WhatsApp. Now the helper sees her own to-dos and pickups in the Family App; elders see medicine and appointments. You update once. Phones — and an optional wall tablet — stay in sync.

02

What if a paper calendar can’t show who is taking whom, and where?

We used to fill a monthly calendar until the page was unreadable. It could say what to do that day, but not who is on pickup or where. Today’s Homent board names the event, who is on pickup, and where. Home Screen widgets remind us what is tomorrow, or the next medical appointment.

03

How do you add a week of events without showing private plans to the helper?

Paste a school chat or a week of plans into the AI wizard, review, then create them together. Or import only the Google Calendar days you choose, then set attendees and pickup — work and private events can stay in Google, off the family board.

04

How do you ask the helper to buy something and know it is done?

Assign it on the to-do list. When it is done, the household sees the status — no extra messages to chase.

05

Can an app for two kids also hold elders’ clinic visits?

Yes. We started with two children. Elders’ hospital follow-ups now sit on the same day board. We can ask dad to do pickup, and the status updates live.

06

What if elders will not open the app?

They often will not. We export an A4 of the two kids’ schedule for the next two weeks, including the trips the elder is tagged on, and hand them the paper. Fridge-friendly — no new app to learn.

Grandpa lives alone and sometimes does not answer the phone. Then what?

We put a care sensor in his living room (no camera, no microphone). If there is presence between 10:00 and noon, it pushes us. That is not medical monitoring and not a life-safety system — just our own ‘someone should be in the living room’ window. When the ping arrives, we worry less.

The family app is free forever. Care sensors are sold separately and use no camera. See the FAQ.
