Should the family live in Google Calendar?
Google Calendar is the right system of record for work. It is a weak household board. If you share the whole calendar with a helper, she sees work. If you keep her off it, she cannot see the school run. Screenshots in WhatsApp are the usual workaround, and they rot by noon.

Homent does not write back to Google. If you change an imported event in Homent, Google does not follow.
When to stay in Google only
- There is no helper and no elder who needs paper.
- Pickup is always the same parent and nobody needs to ask.
- You already run the house from one Google account and that is enough.
When to add Homent
- A helper should see *her* runs, not your offsites.
- You need who is on the run right now.
- Grandpa will only look at paper on the fridge.
- You want notices and dinner off the work calendar.

No. Import is read-only, and only for the days you choose.
Can I keep using Google for work?
Yes. That is the point. The family board is a different surface.
Will the helper see my whole Google Calendar?
Not if you only import household days and set attendees. Do not import a work-only day.
